bCPAP Heating Sleeve
Design Challenge
We are working on a accessory heating device for Rice BTB's Pumani bCPAP. The aim of our device is to reduce rates of hypothermia in preterm infants who are receiving bCPAP therapy as a method of combatting respiratory distress syndrome. Extensive testing and refinement of an existing design will be undertaken this semester.
