Project Title
Developing a Low-Cost Oxygen Concentrator Repair Solution for Use in Developing Countries
Design Challenge
Oxygen concentrators are the primary source of concentrated oxygen found in hospitals in the developing world. However, these devices are prone to mechanical failure and technicians lack access to appropriate diagnostic tools for troubleshooting, such as oxygen analyzers, due to restrictively high cost. Cheaper alternatives to these tools are needed to address the widespread issue of concentrator disrepair in developing countries.
