Design Challenge
Over the past decade, Rice University has seen the number of undergraduate applicants and the yield rate surge. This growth in prestige has consistently strained the Housing & Dining capabilities to provide for the student population. To keep up with high demand, the university plans on adding several new academic, operational, and residential buildings to its campus. In response, the university has proposed a new, 290+ bed residential college in the southern block of campus.
