In low-resource settings, mask shortages are a major problem, making it necessary to reuse masks multiple times. However, many current methods of sterilization are ineffective and may degrade masks quickly. Thus, there is a need for a portable, easy-to-use device to disinfect masks for reuse in low-resource settings.
