Design Challenge
We are tasked with designing a chemical plant to convert 1 trillion cubic feet of shale gas in the Burgos Basin of Mexico into a chemical of our choice. This product must be useful for the region, and the process must be profitable. In addition, we must have minimal environmental impact and address issues associated with the development of shale gas fields.
