Design Challenge
Middle Eastern Dance relies heavily upon contraction and isolation of certain muscles. Current methods to detect contractions are inefficient and subjective. We are developing a device to provide portable, automatic feedback on muscle contractions utilizing electromyography to help not only Middle Eastern dancers, but other potential applications such as physical therapy.
