Training Model: Pediatric Pelvis
Design Challenge
Our team will create an interactive model of a pediatric pelvis that appropriately demonstrates prone and supine anatomical properties of a variety of hymens and labia, includes robust attachments, and allows appropriate space for traction while maintaining anatomical accuracy. The model should be portable, with a base that accurately simulates a child’s torso. This model would provide forensic medical professionals with a hands-on training tool for examining a female pediatric pelvis.
