Project Title
Intra-Hopsital Neonatal Transport for Low and Middle Income Countries
Design Challenge
Small and sick infants in Malawi and other low/middle income countries (LMICs) lack proper transport within hospitals as they are wrapped in a blanket and hand carried. This method lacks the ability to monitor vital signs and provide effective heating. Thus, there is a need for a device that provides stable temperatures and a safe transport while monitoring and displaying oxygen (SpO2) levels and temperature of the baby.
