Adjustable Leg Abductor for Children with Cerebral Palsy
Design Challenge
Children with cerebral palsy experience hypertension in their legs, specifically their inner thigh. When using the restroom, they often require assistance to open their legs. Our team aims to design and construct a sanitizable, low-cost, and easy-to-use device that will allow a child with cerebral palsy to abduct their legs and use the bathroom independently.
