Scooter Charging Station
Design Challenge
Our Team is tasked with designing charging stations that double as secure parking spaces for Electric Scooters on Campus. These charging stations are to be equipped with charging outlets of multiple different voltages (for different Scooter battery types) and are to prevent overcharging of Scooter batteries. The charging station also requires a security locking mechanism as to incentivize the usage of the charging stations as opposed to placing scooters indoors where they could be potential fire hazards. The stations should also be semi-adaptable to both residential college spaces and academic spaces in order for Scooter users to charge their scoooters across campus.
