***We've added 10 more spots!***
Pizza Dinner will be served.
This session is a demonstration and hands-on training for use of Texas Instruments Products.
Prep for your design or capstone courses and take home your own MSP-EXP430F5529LP LaunchPad to build Internet of Things (IoT) projects. MSP430 MCU’s are 16-bit, RISC-based, mixed-signal processors for low-power systems. MSP430 offers low power consumption and the perfect mix of integrated peripherals for thousands of applications. In the workshop you will get started with the Energia Software IDE (a fork of the Arduino SW) and move quickly to a full Code Composer Studio IDE. Code Composer Studio IDE version 6 can import sketches for full debug and full programming capability bringing your development to a professional level. In the workshop you will also work with 430BOOST-CC110L RF BoosterPack to explore wireless connectivity. Your instructor, TI LaunchPad Applications Engineering Manager, Trey German, will also show examples using a new Educational BoosterPack providing a variety of IO interaction as well as the new SimpleLink Wi-Fi CC3100 BoosterPack.
