FRESHMAN DESIGN Students will come away from this workshop being able to design three-dimensional objects using a free, web-based Computer Aided Design program called TinkerCAD. TinkerCAD can help you share visual ideas quickly and simply.
We strongly recommend that every team has at least two members attend this workshop. The workshop will take place in the OEDK Computer Lab.
Please bring a laptop and mouse if you have one.
This workshop will be coordinated by Reece Lusich. Please send an email to rel5@rice.edu if you have any questions, or if you absolutely cannot make this time. If there is enough interest, another time may be scheduled-please add your name to the waitlist if all slots are filled.
This workshop is for students currently enrolled in ENGI 120/FWIS 188 ONLY
Number of Possible Participants: 28
Get an inside look at the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen. Lab assistants will be on hand to show you around our maker space where engineering undergraduates design solutions to real-world projects. Don't forget to ask why it's called a kitchen!
Two open house sessions are available for your convenience:
