Design Challenge
Polysomnography (PSG) is a widely-used, noninvasive, comprehensive procedure that combines data from many types of sensors to diagnose a variety of sleep-related health conditions. While advances have been made in adult polysomnography, pediatric PSGs remain inefficient to prepare and uncomfortable to experience. Our objective is to create a wearable structure that integrates all the sensors needed to diagnose pediatric sleep disorders while preserving signal reliability and improving setup time and patient comfort.
