NIMBS (Neonatal Instructional Model for Ballard Scoring) is a training model designed for clinicians, especially NICU nurses, to practice New Ballard Scoring to determine gestational age of newborns in low-resource settings. The device aims to foster more frequent and skilled performance of the assessment, leading to fewer neonatal prematurities overlooked and untreated.
