Efficient Aerial Reforestation
Design Challenge
Facing the destruction to forests escalated by climate change, we are missioned to replant forests by dropping seedling package to optimal locations from a biodegradable aerial vehicle. Our design challenges include 1) planning out the distribution of tree species with ideal spacing and locations; 2) equipping the seedling package with GPS; 3) landing the seedling package to designated locations; 4) fabricating the aerial vehicle with biodegradable materials.
