Design Challenge
Many pediatric cerebral palsy patients receive surgery to lengthen their hamstrings. Current postoperative therapy includes involved manual stretching procedures from a physical therapist. Thus, a need exists for a more hands-free, consistent post-operative stretching device. Three OEDK student teams have created distinct solutions to solve this problem. This project will focus on testing previous design team's solutions on pediatric patients and implementing one so that it is ready to be used in a hospital setting.
