Project Title
Ambulance Data Link
Design Challenge
Currently, EMTs on ambulance transports have no way to reliably communicate patient medical data with destination hospitals. We seek to build an unobtrusive, reliable, and robust communications platform to transmit data from a medical monitor and other devices in an ambulance to physicians in the hospital, allowing for improved patient care during transport. Additionally, we seek to enable physicians to communicate with EMTs to provide guidance and medical direction prior to patient arrival at the hospital.
